We transform events to create equity for disabled Americans.

What We Do

Make Events Accessible

We’re fostering the day when disability inclusion logistics are implemented in tandem with every other logistical aspect of event planning.

Thoughtful attention to pre-event communications, ingress and egress, guest experience and closeout are vital to ensuring that your event is fully accessible.

We’ll help you navigate the who, what, where, why, when and hows, empowering you to set the benchmark in your field.

Increase Workplace Inclusion

Diversity is crucial to the success of any modern business in the United States. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, 21% of people living with a disability were employed in 2022. By contrast, the employment population ratio for people living without a disability was 65.4%. Why the gap? More often than not, it’s: perceived limitations, systemic barriers, or fear of the unknown.

People with disabilities excel in a myriad of careers when given equitable opportunities.

Bridge The Gap

Invest In Access (IIA) is a female owned, minority owned, organization.

IIA earned 501c3 Status on September 09, 2019. We maintain standard methods of transparency and hold counsel with PSED Law. The United States Internal Revenue Service applies the designation 501c3 to organizations they’ve deemed to be operating exclusively for the purpose of charitable good.

On November 09, 2023 we celebrated the milestone of 05 years in business.

Invest In Access has been an incredibly amazing ally and partner in bringing awareness to equitable access and pushing for the new standard in inclusivity. Small steps go far and Invest In Access ensures that they are taking opportunities at every step on all fronts through collaboration.

Angela Johnson and her team over at Invest In Access are top tier! IIA has been securing interpreters for us since June 2020; elevating our programming in ways we’ve dreamed about since our inception. Making accessibility a priority is done with ease with Invest In Access, and with a quick turn around, we can always ensure our commitment to this priority.

NAMT first worked with Invest In Access for our online Fall Conference in 2020. It was not only our first time hiring ASL interpreters, but also our first large-scale online event. Invest In Access was so easy to work with, and the team was a joy to have in the virtual room. I'm very grateful for their guidance and flexibility, and we're looking forward to working with them again both online and in-person.

When our team first contacted Invest In Access, we were so excited to chat. At least 20% of our excitement to connect was based on how strong Angela Johnson's emoji game was, and the other 80% was because we were blown away by Angela’s expertise, warmth and knowledge. She continues to nail it on both fronts.
